We are very proud to follow our ancestors in the national golf and to welcome the 25th North Patagonic Championship of the Argentine Republic wich will take place from 6th to 9th April, 2006, in our competitve Palihue Golf Course, Bahía Blanca.

We will always remember those Palihue pioneers who around 1969 visualized the first great golf event in our city. This was the first one of a series of successful tournaments which rewarded the constant effort of the club members with Roberto De Vicenzo's victory  - Argentina’s golf ambassador - opening with this a promisory future.

That was the landmark for our club to take a real interest in that sport business bringing to our city some of the most outstanding players like Florentino Molina, Vicente Fernández, Eduardo Romero, Angel Cabrera, Carlos Franco, Jorge Berendt, José Cantero, Rodolfo Gonzalez. These are just a few of those well-known champions who wore the colours of victory: the winners' distinction.

We are grateful to all golf professionals in our country for trusting year after year in our club in Bahía Blanca; their Association: Asociación Argentina de Profesionales de Golf for believing in us, particularly to our leading association: Asociación Argentina de Golf for their constant support and mainly to the local and national businessmen who, through their sponsorship, make this sports ideal come true.

We are engaged in celebrating the Silver Anniversary of our most important and significant tournament.

We hope to succeed in achieving a glorious event that will make our spirit of brotherhood beat together.

We are looking forward to meeting you again.
